Happy National Blonde Brownie Day!

To celebrate this gloriously sweet holiday, I have a recipe for Blondies here just for you. It's easy and quick and absolutely delicious, so go make some Blondies and have a party.
Yes.
That's an order.

Ingredients

salted butter, melted, 1 cup
brown sugar, packed, 2 cups
eggs, 2
vanilla extracts, 2 teaspoons
all-purpose flour, 2 cups
baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon
salt, 1/4 teaspoon
pecans, chopped, 1 cup
white chocolate chips, 1 cup
toffee bits, 3/4 cup

Instructions

1
Pre-heat oven to 375 and thoroughly grease a 12X9 pan.

2
In a large bowl, melt butter and let it cool a bit. If you just melt it most of the way, that is fine. Stir it together with the brown sugar.

3
Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth

4
Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt.

5
Stir in the rest of the goodies, pecans, white chocolate chops, and toffee. By the way, I learned from my mom that nuts taste better when you chop them [or put them in a bag and smash them] yourself. Personally, I chopped them, but generally, I take the fun route and smash them with a a ziplock back and a handy mallet. However, if you prefer to buy them pre-chopped, this recipe will still be delicious :P

6
Now, spread it in your pan and bake for 30-40 minutes. For me, it was about 35, but it was a bit too dark around the edges. So perhaps 33 minutes?

7
Let them cool a bit, cut, and thoroughly enjoy!

Happy Blonde Brownie Day!!
